Introduction
What is Bowen Technique?
Bowen Technique is a hands-on therapy which consists of a series of gentle moves on the skin or through light clothing to encourage a gentle response that empowers the body's own resources to heal itself.
It is not a massage, acupressure or chiropractic therapy. There is no manipulation, adjustment or force used. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers to gently move muscles and tissues.
How does Bowen Technique work?
Bowen moves are very delicate, light, gentle, and very precise. By creating a deep sense of overall relaxation, Bowen Technique allows the body to recharge, reset and balance itself.
Most clients find that a small number of treatments are adequate even for long-standing complaints.
